Quick question: I've received a smallish cheque (just over $100) in US dollars. Can anyone advise of the best way to cash it. Is there anyway I can pay it into a standard UK current account (HSBC)?
Your own bank will deal with that for you. However they want to wait on it clearing-which can take a while depending on where the bank is it is drawn on- before crediting your account.
