Question for Bradford & Bingley Shareholders

I have (had!) some shares in B&B but as this is now under Government ownership I was expecting them to buy up all the shares. I haven't got a massive amount, possibly only a few hundred pounds at the last market value, but I have had no contact regarding them. Does anyone in this situation know what should be happening?

The government, last December, set about appointing an independent valuer to assess the value of the shares. As such you will be entitled to compensation when the valuer has arrived at their valuation of the shares immediately before the transfer to the government. Actually when you will see anything by way of compensation for the shares would appear to be a long way off!
