Their call centres are useless. I spoke to the call centre about having a purchase I made using my Halifax Visa Debit Card refunded as the retailer had gone bust before delivering the goods. It's not well known that under the terms of the VISA debit card scheme banks have to do charge backs if the cinsumer diesn't receive goods. It appears even Halifa call centre staff don't know so they said I had to go through the Received. To be fair to Halifax I wrote to them and by the end of the week had the money back. However googling shows that the Call Centre invariably says the can't charge back.

nope mines fine. But my brother works at the branch in reading. He spends half his life on the phone to his own call centers!

Its gotta be said though, the call centers are much better than virgin media's!

I've not had any issues. ATM withdrawls and debit card find last night. Online banking for both me and my dad checked this morning and all seems to be well (except I could do with a few quid more in the account wink)

Dont even get me started on virgin fkin media. How many letters do they want to send me a month advertising their piss poor excuse for a service? No less than 4 at the moment, religously. For the last 5 month, 4 fkin letters a month. I have rang them, and i have wrote to them asking for them to delete me from their stty fkin mailing list. But they cant even do that. Another letter arrived saturday morning.

And my halifax is now all good! thumbup more than i thought in there too!
