Simple Tax Question

If I have something that my employer wants to buy off me, do I have to pay tax on the money I receive from them or do I get to keep the full amount?

If they were to pay you directly, as opposed to adding it to your gross pay, I wouldn't have thought so.

No, unless you are making a profit on said item in which case you would obviously have to declare it on your self assfistment form, would'nt you

There is also a general; exemption fromn tax for the one off sale of some sorts of secondhand goods - like personal motor cars.
