I recently used a solicitor that i saw advertised on the tv to reclaim my Payment Protection Insurance i was mis sold on my bank loan.
I won the case and my bank promptly paid my money straight into my bank account, to the sum of £4800.
The solicitors i used has now sent me a bill for £1300, which i feel is to much for the work they did.
Is they any argument i can use to reduce this bill amount ?

thats the way they work ...didnt they tell you up front that it was £xxx or a percentage of it ?

its like the "no win - no fee" compo deals - they pick up your case, get you £10K awarded ...then tell you that £2K of it is theirs

just business im afraid....

To be honest, you've had a chat with a solicitor and you've walked away with a bill of less than £1,500..?!!

I'd pay them and move quietly on. You've done well, my son!
