Wouldn't you be time-barred from recovering anything by the statute of limitations?

I'm stuck on this one. Nowadays there are registrars, the current one CREST was formed in the 1990s and before that was TAURUS but that was 1980s. I'm not sure what was in place in the 60s and 70s. On the share certificate is there a registrar name or stockbroker name or anything of that nature?

Or have you found any paperwork which could indicate who his stock broker was?

It's funny, with the number of shares I have bought and sold I have never seen a share certificate.

I googled the name and it now comes up as 3 wells water, why not contact them. I suspect that shares might not have any value if they have been diluted.
