Paying a four figure deposit for my daughter´s wedding venue in the next few days, even though the event is not ´till 2012.

What´s the best way to protect the deposit against loss if the buisness folds up or goes bankrupt before the wedding? See if they have a independent Client Account and insist the deposit goes there or pay by credit card - or some other method?

Any advice appreciated thumbup

Wedding insurance might be a good idea.

check the terms and conditions of payout though, there are quite a few companies offering it now.

Wedding insurance. Ours was less than £200 and covered just this.
