Was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of an online resource or guide to shares, the stock market, etc, etc.

I'm a complete novice as you may have guessed so really looking for a good, easy to understand guide that could help explain how it all works. Cheers

Do you want to know how it works are are you looking to buy and sell?

If the latter you may be better off looking into spread betting.

Buy a copy of the Investors Chronicle out every Friday.
They have a website too.
Good source of information in understanable language.
