If I have got money invested in various companies through a share dealing account, can I put the money made from selling some (top slicing 10.2k p/a) into a cash ISA and avoid CGT?

Cheers

The sale of the sahres may generate a CGT liability. What you do with the proceeds on the sale of those shares is irrelevant for CGT purposes.
