Which race track would you live near?
Discussion
Have a rather good/hairbrain idea seeing as I'm struggling deciding where to live. I want to do more track work so why not live within 30 mins (hour max) of a track to make it more accessible.
With that in mind.... which UK track(s) would you choose to be near based on quality of the area as a living environment? (low crime, decent pubs, good places to eat, nice countryside).
Draw a horizontal line through Nottingham and everything south of that line is a possibility.
I know it's a bit left-field but hey, it's a start

I would have thought Goodwood would be the nicest race track to live near. In fact I grew up near there and there's loads of nice little towns and villages nearby. Just avoid the chav hell holes that are worthing and littlehampton. And rustington too unless you like incontinent old people.
Oulton is clearly the best place in the UK, except for his 3 hour rule. However, it's less than 2.5hrs to Kings X, so not bad.
Daan saaf, Silverstone is a good shout, Cadwell is borderline.
I have no idea hy anyone would want to live near Croft. The area is alright, but the track itself is by far the crappyest "proper" circuit I've ever been on. Also, the noise issues are daft these days.
