Was planning on buying a Dremel rotary tool, decided to most likely go with one of these draper ones.
Draper 79340 230-Volt 140-Watt Multitool

Draper 40967 230-Volt 140-Watt Multitool Kit

Does anyone know if the second one is worth a tenner more? As far as I can tell they are both just the same thing? Apart from the attatchments that come with them!

Which would you go for on a tight budget?

Cheers!

ETA - Im open to suggestions for other types of rotary tools, I will be using it for a bit of everything. Dont think I want cordless because the battery in cordless stuff is always flat when you need it.

I've had a Dremel for about 6 years. I would get this.............

There is a multitude of useful attatchments you can add on as and when. Not sure you get this with a Draper.

Had a couple of cheapies and they're not a patch on a proper Dremel, the worst one I had used to pulse on slower speeds so sort of hunt to get the right speed, up down, up down continually, rerr rerr, rerr rerr. Very annoying though it didn't affect the job it just used to grate on me. So I binned it and bought a proper Dremel. Like a lot of things, you get what you pay for.

The bendy extension is probably worth a tenner, its worth having one of those bendy things if you are doing things in tight spaces.

If I go with a dremel / Draper does any body know if either or both will fit the cheapo bit sets from ebay? Or do they take a standard sized bit?

Think Ive found a Dremel the same as the one mentioned before, except with variable speed, 10k - 30k rpm. Im thinking its the one for me! At £36.45, its only about £1.50 more than the one you couldnt change the speed on.

Cheers!
