OK.I have a concrete drive with a circular external stopcock chamber sunk down to isolate the incoming water mains to the house.

Since I've live here it's been apparent that this hole in the ground has never had a cover, which could mean someone will injure themselves if walked over etc.

This is a circular hole 150mm or 6 inches in diameter, and for the life of me cannot find any sort of cover/lid to fit this void and keep it safe.

Any PHers know of a supplier/fix to my issue.

cheers

Find a piece of thin steel or ali plate about 7 inches square, cut a round piece of timber and screw it to the underside of the plate and drop in place. smile

I've seen plenty of water authority stopcocks on people's drives....
