Sitting here on a Sunday afternoon in June looking out of the living room window - pouring with rain, blowing a gale, and the central heating just switched on (thermostat on 20 degrees).

Merry Summer Everybody!

Since early April it's been like how summer used to be with perhaps 10 days in total where it's rained/been a bit cold.

I'd say it's been great so far but yes today is ste.

Seems to be a recurring theme every year. A cracking spring, followed by a rubbish summer, just in time for Wimbledon!

Here in sunny scotchland, my stat is set at 18, the heating has kicked in almost every day bar a very warm Friday a couple of weeks ago.

We've had an unusually cold May/June, hovering at 11/12 degrees.

It's very, very, upsetting, I can hear the pound notes (yes we still get them, rare as hens teeth, but we still do) burning everytime it kicks on. cry
