Fridge-freezer, American-style

We are in the market for one; must be non-plumbed, don't want an ice dispenser. A few within viewing distance but they are all either black, or silver that is too dark. Apparently none available in white. Ideal one for us is the Beko GNEV220S. (light silver) But this is a Web purchase, and not available to view anywhere near. OH is adamant she doesn't want us to buy anything we have not seen (I am with her there) However, the model from the blurb on the various websites we have seen ticks all the boxes. I spoke to Comet's call centre and they confirmed that it is not available to view at any of their stores.
Dilemma of the highest order.

Just been through this, finding a decent white one is a challenge!
The folks at John Lewis were excellent and in Bristol at least, had a good selection on view;

Lewis certainly have a good selection, and very good pricing too. However, we are specifically looking for one with a water dispenser in the door, no ice dispenser, and white or light silver colour. So that kinda restricts us and the nearest place I can find where we can actually view one is Leicester. But I will call Beko tomorrow to see if they can help us to get to view one at a closer location.
Thanks again

Have you found any reviews of that model, or of similar Beko side-by-side models?
Beko stuff generally has a pretty poor reputation, although that model seems very cheap for what it is - we've got a Maytag one and it was near enough 2 grand about 10 years ago, and that was heavily discounted.

We recently bought this one: http://www.bootskitchenappliances.com/product/RSA1...
I think it was cheaper a few weeks ago. Worth shopping about for it.
