domestic solar panels - talk to me . . .
Discussion
for the last few weeks we have been trying to get a company to come and talk to us about solar panels on our two houses - but nobody seems that bothered
- "we're too busy" - "we will have to wait until we have some appointments in your area" - "sorry I didnt get your messages/emails" blah blah blah
Any PH's that do solar-energy (electric FIT's etc) want some buisso???

whats the difference between the 2 types of systems? ie the one that pays you back from the grid and the standard one?
The two systems are the same. Both systems generate electricity and get paid feed in tarif. The difference is in the ownership. If you buy the system, and pay for the installation, then you get the income. The whole financial argument is that the income from the system will payback for the installation in about 8/9 years, and thereafter the income is profit. The income is guaranteed for 25 years, there are no figures for system life. (YMMV and I'm avoiding a lot of detail)
If you want to, some companies will fit a system on your roof at their expense. They own the system, they get the income. The owner of the roof gets some electricity for free during the day if the sun is shining, and he's got all this stuff on the roof that belongs to someone else.
