Moving House, Removal costs?

We are about to move house and need to budget in the cost of the actual physical removal of belongings. I reckon it will ALL fit in a 7 1/2 tonne lorry and the distance is about 30 Miles.

Can anyone :-
a) give us a rough idea on cost.
b) recomend a company in Winchester / Southampton area.

i moved on friday but not as much as you one box van full about 30 miles £330

Why don't you hire a 7.5 ton? That is what we did. Are you SURE it will all fit in one load? We moved from a tiny 2 bed and it was still 4 loads!!

really ! 4 loads ? ours was a 2 bed and as i said was a box van lol

I've had a quote from a guy called Liam at RemovalsSupermarket.com, £380 for a 7.5 tonner to move our 3 bed house contents about 15 miles up the road. That was with us packing everything up ourselves.

I work from home so one load was work stuff!!

that may explain it then tbh before we moved we junked loads of furniture etc so that helped get the load down
