Any PVC Door Experts Here? - Strange Situation.

My back door won't lock anymore. I lift the handle up turn the key but I can still pull the handle down and then open the door. Now the strange bit is with the door open I can lock it properly and the handle doesn't move. I just can't see what's causing it not to lock when the door is shut.

Any ideas?

As the door will lock with the door open it would seem that either the door or the locking mechanism has moved slightly and needs to be re aligned so that it will lock

If you look at the frame side of it, where the hooks on the door lock hook into are usually adjustable with cam-type screws to raise/lower the plates. Remember where you started from though!
Only other adjustment on the ones I've messed with are the hinges and that's more fiddly.
It's not temperature related is it? Try hosing the door down with cold water to see if it closes better.
