My parents are getting the right royal runaround from the obove after a burgrlary at their home earlier this year.

Does anyone have any names, addresses, phone numbers of senior people they (or I) can contact as they are getting very stressed at present, especially after a day trying to talk to someone with no success.

They are going to contact the ombudsmen tomorrow but would be better if they could get a solution beforehand.

Thanks!

Ombudsman won't do anything until they have given Prudential an opportunity to put things right by making an official complaint (which can be done by phone).

It then takes a while before you can go to ombudsman - you should get a leaflet from Pru containing details of your rights in response to the complaint.

None of that is fast but if you want to try the CEO route - which has helped me with other companies, this website is handy for finding email addresses.

Cheers Spitfire for that.

They have the leaflet on the Ombudsman.

Funnily ... about 2 hours ago my mum got a call from a nice gentelman at The Pru who seems to understand what's gone wrong and has taken responsibility to solve their claim for them.

Minor warning - 'nice bloke on phone' may be sent in to secure agreement in Pru's favour while aggrieved party is off balance.

Understood! Luckily the agreement that was originally reached was fair all round - it just went down a black hole. The "nice" bloke has hopefully pulled it back into the light. Basically 2 departments not knowing ones arse from ones elbow smile
