I have a blind at home on a small window and it is fixed to the underneath of the top horizontal of the window - if that makes sense....
It is currently fixed (by the previous owners of the house who were DIY bodgers) with these:

One has come out and I'd rather replace this type of fixing with something more solid - not least of which because hammering tiny staples in upside down doesn't make for a very solid job.
Can you think of anything else that would essentially do the same job, but is screw in and neater?
Thanks

Depending on how big the bar is, how about some form of cable or P clip?

It's a weird way of fixing a blind whatever you do. They come with proper brackets.
I agree. The previous owners were complete DIY bodgers. Fortunately most jobs were done by professionals, however the few that they attempted are dreadful.
This is a homemade blind which is very pretty, but has a peculiar way of being fixed - nailed in with fencing staples in fact. However, I've now ordered the bits I need to make a better job of it.
