Good Self Build Forums ?

Hi guys, I've googled but can't find any popular self build forums.

Most of the ones Google finds have only one or two posts a day.

Any recommendations ?

I've been looking into this for a client, more at self build blogs. It seems there are no good central forums/hubs/portals or whatever buzzword we want to use to self builders to easily show their progress. We are proposing one with a simple app to allow the self builder to easily show their build, with simple sections so that we can see by date, but also drill straight into different sections like planning, roof, electrics, heating etc, etc.

Some blogs (Mr C) are ace but it seems these are the exception. There are a lot of folks building or doing major improvements (me included) we want to give them a simple, consistent platform to document/discuss it.

If it goes ahead I'll let you all know.

If there is anything you need to know your probably better asking on here from what i have seen

Lots of very good info on insulation, etc different construction techniques and best practice.

Having done a few build/refurb projects myself I've looked, but not found anything good. This place has better stuff TBH. We should have a self build/major projects section. I'd be happy to add my last house project, and document the new one (starting next month)
