I had a karcher, but I think it got the hump about being in the shed through the winter. It is now in the bin.

I've seen some petrol ones - any good?

What do people on here use? It will just be used on cars, decking/patio etc.

I use a Nilfisk C120, perfect for washing the car, patios, driveway etc.

Picked mine up from Machine Mart a couple of years ago for about £80, well worth it!

Nilfisk C120 for me, I bought this kit from Amazon when it was just over £100, but cheaper kits with fewer accessories are available.

They are supposed to be better than Karcher and DIY store brands as they have a metal pump, rather than a plastic one. I can't fault mine.

Doesn't that need different punctuation to work?

Karcher have shocking quality issues and are utterly overpriced IMO.

I have had good experiences with Argos own brand "challenge extreme" pressure washer.

It has an very powerful induction motor and a very high flow rate per minute

Very good value for money too.... even though it's price has went up recently (possibly due to it's sky high popularity)

Ive never had any success with cheap pressure washers. The only decent ones start at the several hundreds of pounds. Hence why I dont have one - but work do for when the car wants cleaning.

Agree on both points. My Argos 'Challenge Extreme' is still going strong after several years of enthusiastic use.

There's a K'archer authorised repair agent just down the road from us at work, and he makes no secret of the fact that he sees nothing but machines justout of warranty, and also that K'archer change their designs slightly every couple of years, meaning spare parts stop being available.

I have a karcher (785 or something like that - supposedly towards top of domestic range). Crap quality.

Plastic handle came off in my hand, due to being woefully inadequate to wind in the hose due to its weight.
This was 2 weeks after buying it.

Another vote for Nilfisk from me. I picked up a super cheap Argos challenge brand one for £29.99 a few years ago and paid something stupid like £3 for 3 years cover. It broke so I paid a little extra when they took it back under the cover agreement and bought a Nilfisk.
The patio cleaner it came with was very impressive too.

I've been looking at Kranzle for the campsite but they are at the pricey end of the market, that said, not read one bad review of them.
