Wood lice Invasion

We run small holiday let business and after some new carpet fitted to a converted stone barn we have had a continual invasion of wood lice,i have tried all the proprietary powders ,sealed every hole,gap ,crevice but still the little blighters turn up.This really seems to have only been a problem since the new carpet was fitted.has anyone got any ideas as to what may be the cause and how to get rid of these unwanted pests? So far i have made sure there are no unsealed gaps and also made sure there is no shrubbery around the outside, and put powder down encircling the entire outside perimeter. I have every confidence in the great PH divide!
