Apologies if this is a stupid question but if I don't ask, I'll never know the answer.

Can I run my central heating on red diesel and if not can I modify the boiler to run on it?

I'm getting it a bit tight at the minute so I don't really want to be spending money on heating oil if I don't have to but I have access to a never ending supply of free red diesel from scrap cars at work.
