Wickes solid wood flooring
Discussion
We have just fitted this to our lounge and hallway - approx 30 m2

Due to our house being new, we do not have floorboards to fix the wood to using a hidden nail as recommended, and we ended up taking a gamble and fitting as a floating floor. So far, so good, no visible movement at all, but needs more tme over the seasons to ensure the gamble has worked.
Also fitted their solid dark bamboo flooring to 3 bedrooms over past few weeks, and again was very pleased with the finish on this as well.

I have fitted over 100m2 of solid oak flooring (not Wickes) in my gaff. I bonded it all and by and large it was pretty good. If I was doing it again I would definitely use engineered flooring and get as many 56lb weights as I possibly could. I have had some movement in places, especially where I didn't weight it down properly.
