Of the garden variety..
Has anyone had any experience of using one of these to store non-gardening type items, such as books, cd's, etc.
Our storage unit rental costs seem to be increasing year on year, & thought if I bought one of these plastic sheds, 4 months storage would pay for the shed.
Just not so sure how items like books & cd's would stand up to the weather.

I have used the Keter ( from www.diy.com ) one's as storage for a number of years at a former work place with no condensation problems.
Not cheap, can difficult to put together, you need a good level surface and best done with a mate's help.
The only problem with mould I had was when a plastic box of clothing was left out in the rain then put into the shed while still wet, only the clothes had mould. They have water runoff/protection designed in. I might not store books in one with out some other protection especially if valuable. Did have stuff in cardboard boxes, print toner and boxes for holding odds and ends but never had signs of damp even over the winters of 2009 and 2010.
Did have one incident of a mouse in the one used to store kitchen waste but sorted when not left in there over night.
In my opinion you won't be disappointed.
