I've lost the seal for sealing the hob to the worktop, any ideas on where I can get a universal one as I don't know the make or model and want to get one ordered today! Failing that could I just stick down with Terostat MS 939 FR, which I have here at work, http://www.ledil.com/2010/datasheets/terostat_ms93...

What do you think?

Thanks

That stuff sounds pretty good though may be a little OTT for what you want?

Personally I always use a kitchen silicon sealer but your stuff will do the job equally well I'd have thought.

Not trying to teach you to suck eggs and all that, but how I'd do the job is place the hob in the cut-out, run a line of masking tape round each side one or two mm from the edge, remove the hob and run a line of masking tap on the hob up to the bottom edge. Squirt a bead of silicon just inside and up to the edge of the masking tape, replace the hob and screw down if it uses fixings underneath, smooth the silicon joint with your finger, wipe off the excess and carefully remove the masking tape.

Result one very feshnall looking job. Big kiss from SWMBO and take it from there.
