I have a good friend who needs a safe, secure, clean, cheap room in Bristol for a couple of weeks soon - maybe also for a longer term thing after.

I've looked at Hostels and they all seem st, or dorms... which are st.

Any other bright ideas or Bristolian landlords hovering about here?

Still hunting, just wondered if anything more specific or "friend of a friend" might pop up smile

If they speak to most hotels they should be able to get a better rate for staying long term.

Where abouts in Bristol? Also it might be worth posting this in the SW forum.

Might be an idea to edit the title as well.

Anywhere considered.

And yes, good point... "Room to rent in Bristol?" would be a better title. smile

One of my mates uses some website (name escapes me at this moment, but google brings up a few when searched for "find a lodger") to get tenants in to share his flat, and he always seems to get a good rate of response.

Spareroom.co.uk works a treat for me.

Airbnb.com might be another to have a look at.
