I've got a few shirts which could do with their sparkle restoring, especially around the cuffs, but I've yet to really find anything that works. They are otherwise in perfect nick, so I don't want to write them off just yet!

Anyone got any recommendations?

Chris, wavey
We have just found Vanish Oxi action sensitive, works wonders on our work gear really well, surprising well in fact that it has removed industrial gear oil from our Hi vist polo shirts.

Well worth a go!

I do all my own washing, as I have done since living on my own since 17, (I'm 41 now!) I won't let the missus touch my stuff. For whites, I wait until I have a decent load, they then get soaked in the sink for a few hours with Ariel Bio powder and then goes into the machine on a 30deg short wash with more powder. I use softener but very little.

gets our lasses white shirts clean even if they have been sat in the washbasket for a week or so and they get covered in allsorts as she works in a kitchen
