Roof repair - where to buy tiles?
Discussion
Evening all,
I have a '50s pitched roof. Where the roof meets the end wall (ie the tall pointy wall) the edge of the tiles are mortered up. Underneath this area there are upturned tiles above the wall.
The picture below shows these tiles - taken from the Clay Roof Tile Council (note - is anyone else surprised they have a council purely for clay roof tiles?!)

Question
a couple of these up turned tiles have dissapeared - obviously fallen out. I want to replace them, as birds have started to nest in the gaps.
But I'm struggling to find somewhere I can just buy 2 or 3 tiles - rather than 2 or 3 palletts?
Most modern houses use concrete tiles, so I can't even visit a nearby building site!
Any ideas would be welcome.
thanks
Ian
