Buying new build for cash - survey?

I've just had my offer accepted on a new build by a local small developer.

House comes with a 10 year LABC guarantee and I'm buying for cash.

Would you still have a survey done in these circumstances and, assuming so, what type?

It's been so long I cannot remember what I did last time round

I would still have a full structural survey carried out.

I wouldn't bother with any type of survey if I were in your shoes. They are filled will rather too many caveats imho.

NHBC will cover you for the important bits, and I presume there will be an agreement with the developer for them to return after 6/12 months to cover any minor snagging?
