We had an oak floor put down about 3 years ago in the hall and study. Now I'm sure I'm supposed to have re-oiled it by now or if not then soon? It looks fine still but I can't help thinking its one of those things that would look better if it was re-done. I seem to remember them "mopping" the oil on and wiping it away with a rag once it had soaked in overnight. Not even sure if I need a special type of oil to match in or if any oak floor oil will do.

Any thoughts on this?

I used OSMO too on my Oak flooring about 5 years ago and the only floor I have had to redo is in my office where i'm rolling about on an office chair.

Fantastic stuff......

Cool, thanks, this might be a job for the weekend. Any hints on preparation and application?
