We'd had enough of our buddleia. Having foiled it's latest attempt to take over the whole garden, we're now left with the stump & roots. Are there any non back-breaking options available?

If you really can't get the rot out, cut it just beow ground level, drill with a large bit and fill with strong weed killer. Cover it and let nature rot it down.

Dig around it & use a strong scaffold pole or massive crow bar to lever it out, worked with me up to 6-8" trunks.
