Tree roots and GSHP arrays

I am (hopefully) moving to a new build with ground siource heat pump heating. I know the array (pipes) is buried 1 meter down in the garden, but does anyone know what impact tree roots may have on the array?

I am looking to plant a small orchard and I am guessing that the array is heavy duty plastic piping??
