Recommend me a Front Door

Good afternoon.
I am looking for a new front door.
Our builder put us in touch with a supplier for a front door with a window pannel running up one side. It's composite and pretty well spec'd. The total cost for this was just shy of £1200 including VAT.
This does seem a little steep to me. What do you guys think? Any recommendations for places you've used and you've been happy with?

Got a Veka composite door and a full length pattern side glass (all in 1 frame), and all chrome trimmings, spy hole etc for just under £1200 - 10 year guarantee also.
The workmanship was top notch and left the place spotless.
Probably not much of a cost saving but worth talking to at least. Recommended either way !

Bought my composite door from http://www.justdoorsuk.com/ and fitted it myself. £400 plus the pizza to bribe my friend to help.

just down the road from me, had a quote from them to replace door and sides, came out half the price of 2 others I had around.
They manufactor on site to your spec. My father also recently used them to replace his velux glass, 1/3 of the price of others.
