Inspired by the "where would you live" thread, what 5 things would you have close (within X miles) to your ideal home?

Mine:
Decent golf course: <5 Miles
Good village pub : Walking distance
Decent restaurant: <10 Miles
A road worth a blast: <5 Miles
Waitrose: <10 Miles

What he said, but hills and water, I'm not fussed it's a good lake or the sea.

This.

With lots of nice roads and stunning scenery. Scottich Highlands or Islands would do nicely.

yes

My son wants to move to Isle of Skye for the sole reason there was not one Tescos, who he strongley believes are evil and are taking over the world. Good enough reason for me biggrin

Empty fantastic driving roads
10 yards from the sea
No neighbours
Stunning mountain scenery
No crime, no speed cameras, great local pubs and fine dining that one can get to by boat...

...would do it for me wink

Here's mine, and it's what I have:
Decent golf course: don't play golf as much as I used to, but a few good ones within 15 miles
Good village pub : Walking distance
Decent restaurant: Walking distance
A road worth a blast: <5 miles. In fact I need to go down them when I go to work.
[-]Waitrose[-/] Any food/beer shop: Walking distance (online for the big shops)

Ideally I would have things like strip clubs, more pubs (plus some on the bank of a river) and a bookies. But I live in a nice town, so am happy with what I've got. Never thought about it like that, so thanks OP.

I have a brilliant butchers within 5 miles of where I work, so often go there at lunch or after work.

Would this farmer let you borrow his tractor? I've always wanted to drive a tractor

I'm lucky enough to have most of what I need close at hand, but if this is about what I'd like, rather than what I have, it would be:
1. Mountains < 50 miles - currently 600 miles
2. A good Indian restaurant < 5 miles - currently unknown!
3. A trout fishery < 20 miles - currently 250 miles
4. A forest < 20 miles - currently 50 miles
5. An NFL franchise < 30 miles - currently 80 miles
