Hi,

Any advice on this - is it a case of getting a company in - if so any recommendations in kent? rough price per room? ( ground floor flat in victorian house floorbaords look good under the carpet )

There was a thread on this years ago but search isnt working happy to be pointed to it

Do nails need punching down? Probably a 'cut' nail and a tedious job. then out with the belt sander and a week with the hoover afterwards.

do it yourself its not hard.i've done a few of these now.first thing to do is get all the nails punched down and remove any staples or gripper rods.then hire the 2 sanders from your local hire shop.go across the room in opposite diagonals at first then finish going with the grain of the boards.simples
