charge on property - rights of telephone communication?
Discussion
We’re selling our house. The buyer is a solicitor, and his company is doing a far better job than ours did when we purchased 6 years ago.
Our charges register apparently states “the land is subject to rights of telephone communication”, and they’re asking for us to provide any further details.
A quick search of google has revealed nothing.
Does anyone know what this charge signifies? We do have a BT line into our property, but no telegraph pole or other wires are near our boundaries.
Any help would be much appreciated; otherwise our response will be along the lines of if it’s not been a problem for us, I doubt it will be for you.
thanks
Ian
