Right, a very quick question for the knowledgeable amongst you.

I have a combi boiler, but just want to run the central heating side of it - ie. just heat radiators, not run hot water to a sink. Is that possible? Does it need to be plumbed in in any particular way?

Hmmm, interesting question. Combi boilers work by means of a diverter valve that runs the hot (cold to start with) water through a matrix (heat exchanger) then onto the taps. This valve only opens when a tap is opened, due to the water pressure. I therefore cant see any reason why it shouldn't work, unless there is some kind of sensor that detects the lack of water in the matrix pipes! Just a guess mind you.
