Initially was going to use onlineturf.co.uk but read a few bad reviews. Any personal recommendations that also do top soil if possible?

Thanks

You are better off sourcing a local supplier.

You can at least see for yourself the quality etc.

Be carefull when buying topsoil as 'some' sellers mix in ground up bricks to increase the weight to save topsoil!
I beleive turf comes in 5 grades with grade 1 being basically field grass (which you don't want), the cheaper the turf the lower the grade.

Thanks Saleen, Rowlawn look more expensive than some places I have looked at. Considering its a job I only want to do once,Price won't be my main consideration.

Also consider that the 'best' turf isn't always the best for what you need.

In other words,if the grass is to be used a little as maybe a play area or having regular traffic, then the best quality won't always stand up to it.

A good supplier should be able to point you in the right direction.
