Nilfisk from amazon.

I have this, got it for £99 a few months ago, but it appears to have gone up .

Metal Pump rather than plastic as all other low end washers. Great technical support as well.

I have one of these, it's much better than the Karcher it replaced.

Amazon had them for £50 a couple of weeks back, so the price might drop again soon.

I have this and is well worth the money, the patio cleaner is really only good for light cleaning though.....my thoughts....

Another vote for nilfisk from me too. The patio cleaner is actually very good although I think it depends on which model you use it on as to how much it will clean. Mine was a mid range one around £70 and it was good enough to strip the paint off of my garage door (only wanted to clean it).

Another vote for Nilfisk after asking the same question on here. Replaced my 15 year old Karcher and it's a lot better. Check Argos and the like as they often have some very well priced packages.

I've previously had 2 x Karchers; first one lasted about 4 years, second one gave up after only 18 months so despite having boughtg it of the internet I sent it back to Karchers who in fairness replaced. The replacement gave up after only a year so I binned it - the best about Karchers is that they are cheap and cheerful but expect to replace it every couple of years.

Third one I have bought is a Milita which cost about £150. It's all together a heavier piece of kit with metal fittings and I assume a metal pump. It's going well now after a coupel of years shoing no signs of giving up the ghost yet! Mind they don't exactly get hammered, I wash the patio annually and I have a few cars to keep clean and that's it. That's why I was so disappointed with teh Karchers.

The discount is taken off at the checkout, be quick though the offer ends in a couple of days.

ETA
The discount was for the 120 bar washer but it looks like they are now out of stock frown

Right, as an update to this thread, I found out that STIHL make pressure washers. Given the quality of their other products (never seen a tree surgeon use anything other than STIHL chain saws), I decided to take a look...

Budget has gone slightly out of the window, but having been shown a number that have been abused for years by the supplying garden equipment place near me, decided the premium was worth it.

Arrives in the next few days. Just need to be careful not to take paint off the cars!!

Good choice... the 128 Plus is a fantastic bit of kit. I've got the RE 108, and I've been more than happy with it. If you have lots of decking/patio, the surface cleaner is a worthwhile accessory, saves you getting sopping wet when doing the patio in Spring!

Who did you purchase from out of interest? Are they delivering it? My local STIHL supplier is collect only.

Good stuff - I use HSS over in Old Woking... they're around 15 miles from me, but the drive across the Pirbright Ranges is always good fun!
