When closing the door, you pull the handle up, which engages a bolt top and bottom. You then turn the key, which locks the handle in position.

Anyone know what type of lock it is, and is it possible to replace just the 'barrel', or would a whole new mechanism be needed?

Thanks in advance. thumbup

I think whats shown in the piccie is known as a euro-profile cylinder and is normally replaceable.
