Hi all,

Before I commit murder, does anyone know of a plumber who might be available asap to come look at my boiler? I'm in Reading, Berkshire.

Southern Electric (have one of their "support" agreements...) have just finished their 9th visit and still can't suss out the low hot water pressure.....despite replacing what i believe is half the boiler (secondary heat exchanger, etc).

Boiler is a Ferroli F30b (3 years old and not the best i know - inherited).

Any and all help much appreciated, I'm close to going postal (and that's the wrong trade).

Cheers,

Neil

Can't remember if this model uses a plate heat exchanger or straight through type with a flow switch (don't know the correct term for the latter).

If it does have a flow switch, have they checked this isn't clogged? The have filters in them. I had an issue with a Ferroli of some sort where the flow switch was clogged with crap and tricking the boiler into thinking the hot tap was open and overheating the boiler.
