what tree is this?

I'm at the g/f's house. In her garden is this tree;




She thinks that it is a Rowan. Is she correct?

Are the berries white to start with? If so it's sure to be a Cashmiriana but it is hard to be exact without closer inspection. It certainly has the slight, dainty appearance of a cashmiriiana.

My other suggestion would be Sorbus Aucuparia Aslpenifolia which has more of a red berry. Either way much the same trees.

Just came back from walking the dogs. Saw something just like it with a label on it - Sorbus Josephs Rock.

There's literally hundreds of very similar 'different' varieties of ornamental Rowan/Sorbus bred/sold.
