Planning - how wide for access road ?
Discussion
Seen a P-shaped plot of land in the middle of a row of houses which could probably fit 2 houses at the back (in addition to one at the front)
The issue is road access, which won't be available at the back.
So, assuming a 10m wide strip, would that be wide enough for the council to permit a driveway with access to the rear, plus a [new-build] property alongside ?

Plenty wide enough! However you will need to think about noise pollution to the neighbours with the proposed increase of traffic movements.
So try and position your 4.8m wide access as far away as possible from neighbouring properties. You can use some hedging etc between the access and housing to buffer the noise. Any other queries contact me on brian.herbison@ntlworld.com
