Non- Dimmable Light
Discussion
One for anyone with a bit more electrical knowledge than me - I've got a light fitting that has an old fashioned (suitable for dimming) bulb, but the instructions with the fitting suggest that it is "non-dimmable". Having hooked it up with the current switch on that circuit which is a dimmer, all seemed fine, but after about 5 mins the dimmer switch has lost its ability to dim and now just does on and off. Can anyone help explain why this might be, really just so I know whether I need to just buy a normal toggle switch or should try another dimmer!? Thanks
