Replacement front door - Composite Door
Discussion
If the door is south facing, get a light coloured one to reduce the "differential expansion" that may occur when the sun heats the door up, which can make it difficult to open and close, unless you are able to co-ordinate pulling/pushing the door at the same time as turning the key..
Please note composite doors "do not warp", as you'll see in all the gumf that you'll get. Differential expansion is different, and down to the different layers of different material expanding (and contracting) at different rates.
There are a number of threads about this - but search seems to be playing up - I can't even find MY thread.......

If composite doors do not warp please explain why I struggle to get the lock to engage in the top of my front door - the installing engineers has been out and confirmed it is slightly warped - this after installation in 2006.
Be aware some doors are faced with a hard plastic that can and does crack - my back door was replaced earlier this yearThe company that makes them have discontinued that particular type and now have a moulded fibreglass outer layer which is said to be more stable.
