I'm looking at paint colours for a kitchen. I'm looking for something along the lines of a nice deep red, but all the kitchen paints seem to be in pastel colours.

I'm assuming there is nothing wrong with using an ordinary emulsion? Also if I went for a Farrow & Ball Paint which of their many paint types should I use?

The kitchen/bathroom paint has an antibacterial agent to resist mould. Assume your ventialtion in the kitchen is ok then you should be fine with ordinary paint.

Yes you can use F&B but in a kitchen I would use F&B modern emulsion as opposed to thier estate emulsion as if you are going to use a dark colour it will wear better.Just never try to touch it up as all marks will show.

Ye gods.

Isn't the surgery on HMS Victory painted red so you can't see the blood?
