London - Up and coming areas ripe for buying a doer upper?

Having just sold I am looking for my next project & am considering in and around the London area where I work.

Any links or thoughts on good areas to look at?

Ideally looking at refurbing / extending an existing family home 4 beds +.

I see Nine Elms mentioned in your report & I know the American Embassy & other large developments are happening aroung there so will have a look on rightmove.

Any other thoughts / areas appreciated.
