Hose blows off pressure washer.
Discussion
I've a small pressure washer and when I turn on the mains water if I dont run it at a low imput pressure it blows the hose off the washer imput hose connection ( Hozzelock Type ) . I ve tried using a new connection but to no avail, is my mains water pressure too high, I dont think so as if I turn it down then there s not enough pressure comming from the washer.
Any ideas please.

Chances are, the connector on the pressure washer isn't Hozelock brand and not a perfect fit. Try replacing this first and the hose end Hozelock fitting, incase they are worn/damaged.
Failing that, you could replace the Hozelock connector with a Female 3/4" BSP hose tail and connect the hose directly. Not quite so convenient and wont allow the hose to rotate.

Do you mean the connector on the machine - that'll be male, usually?I think on mine it screws off (it's the same as a tap connector) but on a cheapie machine I was assuming it doesn't.

I don't have to explain male/female to you do I?

I think perhaps we're describing different parts of the fitting, as illustrated by: http://www.purefreedom.co.uk/brass-male-hose-conne...I'm guessing on a cheap machine, all that's there is the male spigot.
