Anyone got experience of hot tubs?

There's a house we're looking at buying and it has a hot tub. Apparently it 'might be for sale' with the house. we don't really want it but now curiosity is creeping in and I'm wondering what sort of maintenance and running costs might go with a hot tub?

Probably better off asking in the Home, Garden & DIY section. I'd be quite interested to hear peoples thoughts too. We moved in June and the new place had a hot tub in the garden, hasn't been used for a few years though, not sure if it'll be worth getting going or getting rid.
How much have they suggested as a price for it? I'd think it would be a massive amount of hassle to move one and you might even find that if you didn't pay a penny they'd still leave it behind.

There was a hot tub thread not that long ago that covered all of this. IIRC it was about £1.50 per day.....or maybe it was 50p per day? i forget...
